a) When changing functions, please allow 3 - 4
minutes for the condenser unit to restart.
The DEFROST icon will illuminate during this
period.
b) Remote communication distance 25 to 33 ft.
depending on battery strength.
c) The above remote is for a Heat Pump. The AC
only remote control will be slightly different.
14) FOLLOW ME Button
Press the FOLLOW ME button to activate the
FOLLOW ME function. This allows the room
temperature sensing to be transferred from the
wall unit (evaporator) to the remote control.

1) TEMP UP Button
Press this button to increase indoor temperature.
Increments 1°F each press.
2) TEMP DOWN Button
Press this button to increase indoor temperature.
Decrements 1°F each press.
3) MODE Button
Each time the button is pressed, the operation
mode is selected in the following sequence:
AUTO
Heat will not be displayed on AC only models.
4) SWING Button
Stops or starts the louver movement and to set the
desired up/down airflow direction.
5) RESET Button
Press this recessed button to return settings to

factory default.
6) ON/OFF Button

Operation starts when pressed and stops when
pressed again.

7) FAN SPEED Button
Selects fan speed in 4 steps:

8) TIMER ON Button
Activates the Auto-On time setting. Each press will

increase the time setting by 30 minutes up to 10
hours, then 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. To

cancel press the button until it reads 00:00.
9) TIMER OFF Button
Activates the Auto-Off time setting. Each press will
increase the time setting by 30 minutes up to 10
hours, then 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. To
cancel press the button until it reads 00:00.
10) ECONOMY Button
Select this function during sleep time. It will
maintain the most comfortable temperature while
saving energy. This function available on COOL,
HEAT, or AUTO mode only.
press the ECONOMY, MODE, FAN SPEED or
ON/OFF buttons.
11) LOCK Button
Press this recessed button to lock keypad. Unit
settings cannot be changed when locked. A small
icon KEY will appear in the lower left part of the
screen when activated.
12) TURBO/FP Button
Quickly press button (less than 2 sec.) to activate
the TURBO (highest) fan speed. Fan runs at
this speed for about 20 minutes.
Press and hold TURBO/FP button for 2 seconds
to automatically set heat to 46°F (must be in
heat mode). Good for extended times away from
home. Keeps pipes from freezing while
occupants are away.
13) LED DISPLAY Button
Press this button to blank the indoor unit's display.
