Situation
1.
The input port (RJ45 socket) of the
FLX-HUB is not connected with the
FLX-NNI Controller.
2.
The power of the FLX-HUB is
switched off. Note that in this case
all FLX-HUB units connected with
the FLX-NNI Controller are switched
off.
Normal operation.
The FLX-HUB runs with backup firmware.
The normal firmware is corrupt. This
situation may occur after an unsuccessful
(interrupted) firmware update with the
Director toolset. Note that the FLX-HUB
remains full operational.
The FLX-HUB runs with backup software.
The normal software is corrupt. This
situation may occur after an unsuccessful
(interrupted) software update with the
Director toolset. Note that the FLX-HUB
remains full operational.
The FLX-HUB runs in 'boot loader'. This
is really an exceptional situation.
Situation
1.
The input port (RJ45 socket) of the
FLX-HUB is not connected with the
FLX-NNI Controller.
2.
The power of the FLX-HUB is
switched off. Note that in this case
all FLX-HUB units connected with
the FLX-NNI Controller are switched
off. The diagnostic LED of the input
port remains off as well.
3.
No power voltage available on the
FLX-HUB. The diagnostic LED of
all output ports remain off and the
diagnostic LED of the input port is
flashing.

Action
1.
Check the cabling of the FLX-HUB.
2.
Switch on the power of the FLX-HUB
via the user interface of the FLX-NNI
Controller or use the Director toolset.
(no action required)
Update the firmware of the FLX-HUB
using the Director toolset. Note that (at
least) all FLX-HUB units connected with
FLX-NNI Controller will be updated.
Update the software of the FLX-HUB
using the Director toolset. Note that (at
least) all FLX-HUB units connected with
FLX-NNI Controller will be updated.
Replace the FLX-HUB unit and send the
malfunction unit back to factory for repair.
Action
1.
Check the data cabling (RJ45
socket) between the FLX-HUB and
the FLX-NNI Controller.
2.
Switch on the power of the FLX-HUB
via the user interface of the FLX-NNI
Controller or via the Director toolset.
3.
Check the power cabling between
the FLX-HUB and the DPR-2700
power system (PSU). Make sure that
the PSU is switched on an function
normally.
4.
Check if the load breaker of this
circuit in the PSU DPR-2700 is
switched on. See manual of the
