Connect both of the adapter cables in the respective header connectors on the Mini PCI Express adapter card. Line up and install the Mini PCI Express adapter card with the Mini PCI Express slot on the motherboard. Match up the gap in the card connector, with the notch in the slot. -

Verifying the Installation From the main desktop, right-click on “My Computer” (“Computer” in Vista), then select Manage. In the new Computer Management window, select Device Manager from the left window panel. Double-click on the “Ports (COM & LPT)” option. The appropriate number of additional COM ports and parallel ports (LPT) should be visible. -
