Please stick the extra data plate for the
appliance supplied with this
documentation in the space provided in
the "After sales service" section of this
booklet.
Cleaning for the first time
^ Remove any protective wrapping and
adhesive labels.
^ Before using for the first time, clean
the appliance with a damp cloth only
and then wipe dry.
Do not use washing up liquid to
clean the ceramic surface as it can
leave a blue sheen which may be
difficult to remove.

Before using for the first time
When the induction cooktop is first
connected, and after a power cut, all of
the indicators in the display light up for
approx. 1 second for testing purposes.
The appliance can be used as soon as
the indicators go out.
When the appliance is used for the
first time, it may give off a slight
smell. The smell and any vapours will
dissipate after a short time.
They do not indicate a faulty
connection or appliance, and they
are not harmful to your health.
Please note that the heating-up time
of induction cooktops is much shorter
than that of conventional cooktops.
