Giving preference to the tape length over the title sequence

(time edit recording)

When the tape recording time is specified, recording is ex-
ecuted with changing the title sequence so that no title
will be interrupted when the tape direction is changed at
the end of one side.
When equalizer or another effect is applied to the
sound, the sound with the applied effect can be re-
corded.
Recording preparations are required. §

Select the "EDIT" mode.
1 Confirm that the "PGM" indicator is
not lit.
If the "PGM" indicator is lit, press the
P.MODE key to turn it off.
2 Press the EDIT key.
The editing is ended when no operation
is executed for 8 sec or more.

Select the disc.

Enter the recording length of the tape.

Start edit recording.
Depending on the combination of conditions from CD contents (number of titles and length of the titles) and tape recording time, interruption
of a title may not be avoidable. In such a case, the respective title will not be recorded.

To cancel the EDIT mode, press the P.MODE key of the remote control
unit.

Even if the disc has already been selected, select the disc again.
Press the numeric keys as shown below.

If you commit an error in the time entry, restart the procedure from step
1.
Up to 32 tracks can be edited.
Every time the ¢ key is pressed, the edited track numbers will be
displayed in the changed order. Press the 7 key to return to the track
number of the first track.
