1 SRS 3D key (XD-750/XD-700 only)
Press to switch SRS 3D on and off.
2 EX.BASS (Extra bass) key
3 Numeric keys
Used as number keys when the input is switched to CD.
The PTY SEARCH key is used when searching the programme type
of RDS broadcasting.
4 P.MODE key
Used to program the CD playback sequence.
5 EDIT key
Used for CD edit recording (time edit recording).
6 RDS DISPLAY key
The display contents are switched during reception of RDS broad-
casts.
7 TA/NEWS/INFO. key
Used for automatic reception of transmissions of a certain content.
8 TUNING (1 ¡) keys
9 A/B key
0 Cassette deck operation key
! EQ. (Equalizer) key
Press to switch the equalizer effect on and off or to select an
equalizer pattern. Each press changes the selection in sequence.
@ MUTE key
This is used to mute the sound temporarily.
# On/Standby (

$ N.B. key
Press to compensate for the heavy low frequencies.
% SLEEP key
Use to set the sleep timer.
^ INPUT key

( REPEAT key
Used for repeated playback of a CD.

For CD playback, switching is executed between introduction scan-
ning, random playback, and normal playback.

This is used to specify the program type when searching for a station.
£ P.CALL (Preset Call) (4 ¢) keys
¢ CD play/pause (6) key
AUTO (7) key
§ VOLUME keys
This has the same function as the MULTI CONTROL/VOLUME knob
on the main unit. However, the AI VOLUME function does not
operate.
