After hearing a long beep, enter the new hour (01-12).

After two beeps, enter the new minute (00-59).

After two beeps, press 1 for AM, or press 2 for PM. The unit will announce the new day
and time followed by a long beep and will prompt "Please enter next command."

Press the REMOTE button to exit the remote mode. Otherwise, the remote function will
turn off automatically if not in use for 8 seconds.
TONE / PULSE SETTING
Select the appropriate dialing service by moving the
T/P (Tone / Pulse) switch on the bottom of the base unit:

TONE for Tone service, or
•
PULSE for Rotary service.
TELEPHONE OPERATION
TO PLACE A CALL
Press the TALK button on the handset. The handset

IN USE / BATT LOW LED indicator will flash while the unit
scans and will light steadily when it finds a clear channel. The CHG / IN USE LED
indicator on the base unit will light steadily when the handset is in use.

Listen for a dial tone.
3.
Dial the telephone number.
4.
When finished with your call, press the TALK button or place the handset on the base
unit.
TO RECEIVE A CALL
NOTE: If you expect an incoming call, the RINGER OFF / ON switch on the handset must be
set to RING ON position.

IF THE HANDSET IS ON THE BASE
