Problem
The crema on the
coffee or espresso
is not as it should
be.

Possible cause and remedy
The grinder setting is not correct.
^ Set the grinder to a finer or coarser setting (see "Setting
the coffee grinder").
The brewing temperature is too high for this type of coffee.
^ Set a lower brewing temperature (see "Brewing
temperature").
The coffee beans are no longer fresh.The coffee beans are
stale.
^ Add fresh coffee beans to the coffee bean container.
