One-touch recording
The one-touch recording can record all tracks in a CD with a one-touch operation (all-track recording).
It can also record the current CD track being played from the beginning (single-track recording).
Be sure to put the MD recorder and cassette deck in stop mode

Make the preparations for recording.
CD = MD
1 Insert a recordable disc into the MD recorder.
2 Insert disc in the CD player.

Check the current play mode of the CD player.
One-touch recording (all-track recording)
If it is in play mode, stop it.

Start recording.
÷ When starting recording from the remote control unit, make sure not to mistake the MD O.T.E. key and TAPE O.T.E. key.
÷ When the MD O.T.E. or TAPE O.T.E. key is pressed for "One-touch recording (single-track recording)", the CD track
being played is replayed from the beginning and recording start at the same time.
÷ To perform operation on the main unit, see step 3 in the procedure in "Twin recording onto MD and tape (TWIN REC)".
To interrupt a recording
(Recording and playback will be
stopped.)
Always remove the disc after recording.

Convenient Recording Methods
CD = TAPE
1 Perform steps 1. to 3. of the procedure in
"Recording on TAPE".
2 Insert disc in the CD player.
One-touch recording (single-track recording)
Select the desired CD track and play it.
To record other tracks using "one-touch recording
(single-track recording)", repeat steps 2 and 3 for
each track.
At the end of the recording
MD recorder : Stop.
Cassette deck : Stop is executed after an unre-
corded portion of about 4 sec. has
been produced.
"WRITING" displayed during the minidisc ejection
operation indicates that the data associated with
recording or editing is being written on the disc. Do
not apply vibration or shock to the unit while this
message is displayed.
