Mounting height
1. Standard mounting height 2.5 m. For efficient pet tolerance
functionality, we recommend a mounting height of 2.2 to 3 m. Check
range by walking around in the detection area. Depending on site
conditions, it might be necessary for the detector head to be tilted
down one step or to be rotated by ± 10° from a mounting height
exceeding 2.8 m.
2. Tilting detector head towards the ground impairs pet tolerance func-
tionality. Directing the rear view observation lens towards the sky (240°
and 300° models only) will not detect persons but will increase probabi-
lity of malfunctions. In case of such an application, the lens should be
covered with the louvre clips included in the scope of supply (see
picture on page 4).
