LCD Display

1 Watt or 2.5 Watts or 5 Watts — indicates present trans-
mit power. Not displayed when receiving weather frequen-
cies.Not displayed for those channels on which transmitting
is prohibited. The initial setting is 5W.
USA or INT or CAN (UIC) — indicates the frequency band in
use for marine operation.
Memory — displayed when the radio displays a channel
stored in memory.
Alert — displays when weather alert is enabled.
SCAN — displays when the radio is set to scan mode.
TRIWATCH or DUALWATCH — displayed when either mode
is active.
Locked — displayed when the keypad is locked.
Battery Level Icon — displays one of fi ve different indica-
tors to show the battery power level.
MODE Indicator Line — the bottom of the screen shows the
selected mode such as Standard Marine Channels, Weather,
Dual or Triple Watch, Transmitting, and more. For full details,
refer to the specifi c section of the manual.
CHANNEL — shows the currently selected channel number:
1
to 88
