Have a West Marine VHF255 Multiband Floating handheld vhf and the antennia is dry rotting. VHf is still recieving and transmitting fine. Is the antennia removable? Tried to swist it off and it only will turn about a quarter way around. Don't want to ruin it more. How do you remove it and where can I purchase a new one?
