Rear tire replacement
1. Position the motorcycle on the center
stand.
2. Remove the two screws
case.
3. Remove the brake cable adjust nut
and place a jack or block under the
swing arm to lift the rear wheel slightly
off the ground.
4. Loosen the drive chain adjust nuts
left and right, and disengage the drive
chain from the rear sprocket.
A hot muffler can burn you. The muffler
and chain
will be hot enough to burn you for some
time after stopping the engine.
Wait until the muffler cools to avoid
burns.
5. Remove the rear break hub from the
swing arm.
6. Loosen the rear shock absorber lower
bolts

bottom.

7. Pull the rear wheel assembly rearward.
8. To replace the rear wheel, reverse the
complete sequence listed.
