Using Text Messaging

If your phone supports text messaging over Bluetooth, you can use text messaging on
the Honda Compact Navigation System. After pairing, it might take a few minutes for
text messages to be available. On the Menu page, touch
● To view your messages, touch inbox, Outbox, or Drafts; and touch a message.
You can reply to or forward a text message.
● To create a new text message, touch
NOte: Messages sent from your unit do not appear in your phone's outbox.

Dropping a Connection

1. On the Menu page, touch
2. Touch Change.
3. Touch the device name that you want to drop, and then touch Drop.
4. To confirm, touch Yes. If you want to use hands-free functions with this dropped
phone again, you do not have to pair this phone and the Honda Compact
Navigation System again.

Removing a Phone from the List

1. On the Menu page, touch
2. Touch Change.
3. Touch the device name that you want to remove, and then touch Delete.
4. To confirm, touch Yes. If you want to use hands-free functions with this removed
phone again, you must pair this phone and the unit again.
