Overcasting Stitch
O Stitch pattern selector: 3
® Presser foot: Zigzag foot
(_ Needle thread tension: 1 to 4
@ Stitch length dial: 1 to 2
Stitch width dial: 5
This stitch is useful in garment construction, and in finishing
the raw edges of any sewing project.
Start overcasting about 1/8"(03 cm) inside the raw corner
of a fabric. The right tip of the stitch should just clear the
row edge.
Multiple Zigzag Stitch (Model 15208 exclusive)

(_ Needle thread tension: 1 to 4
(_ Stitch length dial: 1 to 4
(_ Stitch width dial: 5
o Seam finishing
Place the fabric under the presser foot in such a manner
that the edge is slightly inside the right-hand side of the
presser foot. Guide the fabric so that the right hand
stitches fall at the edge of the fabric..
Trim the excess close to the stitches° Be careful not to cut
the stitches
° Mending
Position the tear under the needle, so that the stitch
catches both sides.
