The Stitch
and Its Uses
This stitch
pattern,
a variation
of the straight
stitch,
is a narrow
stretch
stitch
designed
to
eliminate
puckering
on knit
fabncs
and bias
seams.
On tricot
and fiimy
chiffons,
it can be used
to
seam and
overcast
at the same time
to
produce
a narrow,
almost
invisible
seam or
seam finish.

a straight
stitch.
