• Recommended practice:
ÿ Plug unit/units directly into their own properly grounded three prong receptacle
protected with a minimum 15 amp time delay fuse or circuit breaker.
ÿ Do Not plug unit/units into a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) circuit.
ÿ Cord sets are 72" long, and emerge from near the bottom of the unit back. It is
recommended the receptacle be approximately midway between the two units.

Receptacle, according to Article 100 of the 2005 NEC, is "a contact device installed at
the outlet for the connection of an attachment plug." A typical wall outlet has two
receptacles.
Location:
• The units must be installed on a floor that is level and strong enough to support a fully
loaded refrigerator and freezer.
• Consider water supply availability for models equipped with an automatic ice maker.
• Do Not block toe grille on the lower front of the units. Sufficient air circulation is essential
for the proper operation of the units.
• Do Not install unit/units over HVAC ducts.
Minimum cut-out dimensions for models with Trim Kit:
• Double wide installation: See Fig A
