Before using the Self-Cleaning Mode please read the Oven Care and Cleaning page carefully and follow the
Preparing the Oven for Self-Cleaning first. (see page 28)

To Set the Self-Cleaning Mode

1. Close the door properly. If door is open when the
Self-Cleaning Mode, the "AUTO LOCK" will flash
in the Central Display until the door is closed.
Because of the latch doesn't move. And do not
open before starting the Self-Cleaning Mode.
2. Rotate both Dials into the
3. "CLEAN" appear in the Cooking Mode Display.
4. "TIME" display in the Central Display, and clean
time is displayed automatically, its standard value
is 3 hours. (How to change the time value, see To
Change the Cleaning Time below.)
5. The latch starts moving to lock the oven door.
"AUTO LOCK" and "ON" writings appear, then
Self-Cleaning will start. Also the light is turned off
during the Self-Cleaning.
If door dose not lock, rotate the Cooking Mode
Dial into the OFF position and do not start Self-
Cleaning; Phone for service.
6. At the end of the programmed cleaning time,
"End" will appear in the Temperature Display. The
oven will automatically turn off.
7. Do not attempt to open the door while the door
is locked. The "AUTO LOCK" writing will flash
until the motor stop. When the "AUTO LOCK"
displayed, the door cannot be opened until oven
cavity temperature has cools down.
8. Make sure to set the Cooking Mode Dial to OFF
and the Temperature Dial to PRESET position
when the Self-Cleaning is finished.
To stop the Self-Cleaning Mode at any moment,
move one of the two Dials from the cleaning position.

To Change the Cleaning Time

To change the setting from 3 hours, to either 2 hours
for light soil or 4 hours for heavy soil immediately
before starting. (1h 59min - 3h 59min)

To Delay the Start of Self-Cleaning

Set the cleaning time and finish time, start time will
be calculated. Make sure the clock is set to the
correct time-of-day.
Follow steps To Set the Self-Cleaning Mode 1
through 4.

[TIME] key and verify that "STOP TIME"
appears on the Central Display. The hours will
begin flashing.
6. Use + [INC] key to change the stop time value.
7. To change the minutes, touch the

10. The clock automatically calculates the time of day
at which the mode starts and stops. The latch
starts moving to lock the oven door, the display
shows "DELAY".
11. When the delay time expires, Self-Cleaning will
start.
12. At the end of the programmed cleaning time, the
oven will automatically turn off.
13. "End" will appear in the Temperature Display,
"CLEAN" on the Cooking Mode Display and
"TIME" on the Central Display will start flashing
until the
[TIME] key is touched or the Cooking
Mode Dial is moved to the OFF position.
In order to check the cleaning or the stop time during
a delayed clean, simply touch the
"TIME" or "STOP TIME" writings are displayed.
