During the installation, it doesn't need any interference from
your side. If you are using Windows XP/2000, a new "Local Area
Connection" will be built for USB port while the installing completed.

2.3.2 Connecting ADSL Line

Simply plug one end of the telephone line into the Modem port
of the splitter and insert the other end into the ADSL port on the rear
panel of the MT882.
Use another telephone line to connect the splitter and the phone
jack on the wall.

2.3.3 Connecting the Computer to the MT882

Use a straight-through cable to connect your PC and the MT882.
You can connect the MT882 directly to a 10/100Base-TX Ethernet
adapter card on your PC with the provided Ethernet cable as shown
in Figure 2-1
