This code allows you to make a Group call using
DTMF.

• Stations A and B receive a call when station D
transmits "12B".
• Stations A, C and E receive a call when station D
transmits "1B3".
• Stations B and F receive a call when station D
transmits "B24".
• Stations other than D receive a call when station A
transmits "BBB".
• Station D receives a call only when code "125" is
used (Individual call only).
Note: The Group Call beep tone sounds when receiving a
call using the Group Code.
Note: The transceiver does not transpond when receiving a
call using the Group Code.

6.3.5 Alert Tone Level

This function allows you to program the volume level
of the Call Alert Tone. When setting the volume level
of the Call Alert Tone to Current, it becomes the same
as the current volume level.

6.3.6 Auto Reset Timer

The Auto Reset Timer is the time from when
communication ends to when the DTMF "Match
Status" status is reset.
"Match status" indicates that the user can
communicate using only QT/DQT after the DTMF
codes match.
The match status is reset when the Auto Reset Timer
expires, after the user ends communication.
You may disable this function.
"Match status" is reset when activating the Monitor or
Scan function, or when changing the Channel.

6.3.7 Call Alert

The Call Alert Tone sounds when receiving a call
using DTMF.
There are three types of tones. You may also disable
the tone.
Normal
The Call Alert Tone sounds only once.
Continuous
The Call Alert Tone keeps sounding for the
duration of time programmed in the Auto Reset
Timer. Press any key to stop the tone.
Special
The selected tone sounds.
No
The tone does not sound.

6.3.8 Transpond

This function allows you to automatically transmit the
Alert or Code, when the ID Code matches, in order to
notify the caller that you have received a call.
There are three types of Transpond. You can also
disable this function.
OFF
The transceiver does not transpond.
Alert
The transceiver automatically transmits the Alert
Tone.
ID Code
The transceiver automatically transmits the ID
Code.
Transpond (ADM1)
The transceiver automatically transmits the DTMF
Code programmed in Autodial Memory location 1.
Note: An Error Beep sounds when selecting Transpond
(ADM1) when Autodial Memory location 1 is not
programmed.
Note: The Call Alert Tone sounds after transponding when
using the Transpond function and the Call Alert
functions at the same time. With the Clear to
Transpond function, the Call Alert Tone may not
sound, as the transceiver holds Transpond.
