6 DTMF

6.2.6 DTMF Hold Time

DTMF Hold Time is the hold time (2 seconds) after
the transceiver transmits DTMF.
With this function, the user does not have to press
and hold the PTT switch to transmit the DTMF.
Note: The transceiver stops transmitting when the DTMF Key
is released before the PTT switch.
Example
• The transceiver stops transmitting two
seconds after the DTMF key is released.
• The transceiver stops transmitting immediately
after the DTMF key is released.

6.2.7 Manual Dial

This function allows you to manually transmit the
DTMF Tone using the Keypad.
The operations differ when Keypad Auto PTT is
enabled or disabled.

6.2.8 Keypad Auto PTT

This function allows you to transmit the DTMF Tone
using the keypad when Manual Dial is enabled,
without having to press the PTT switch.
The Keypad Auto PTT box is greyed out when
Manual Dial is disabled.
The Store & Send box is greyed out when Keypad
Auto PTT is enabled, and vice-versa.

6.2.9 Autodial

This function allows you to automatically transmit the
DTMF Code (Autodial Memory).
You can program up to 9 Autodial Memories.
6.2.9.1 Transmitting from the Autodial
Memory:
1 Press the [*] key.
2 Enter the Autodial Memory number you want to
transmit (1 ~ 9). The Error tone sounds when the
selected Autodial Memory is not programmed.

The following display appears when transmitting
the code "123".
3 Press the PTT switch to transmit the DTMF Code.
6.2.9.2 Autodial Memory Storage:
You can store numbers to the Autodial Memory
using a keypad.
1 Press the [#] key.
2 Enter the DTMF Code.
Example
The following display appears when entering the
code "123456".
3 Press the [#] key again.
4 Press a key from 1 ~ 9 to save the DTMF Code to
the Autodial Memory.
To enter [#] for the DTMF Code, press the [#] key
while pressing the PTT switch.
Example
To enter "12 #", press key [1]
press and hold the PTT switch while pressing
the [#] key.
press key [2]
