9. After right-clicking "Stop recording" on the toolbar, the recording does not stop. How
do I stop recording?
The "Stop recording" function can only be excuted by right-clicking during
Manual recording.
If you want to stop recording, please set the time is not recording.
10. What if the motion detection function is not working?
The setting of motion detection area may not have been set correctly.
Check the sensitivity of the motion detector. The sensitivity level may be too low.
11. What if the remote control does not work?
The address of remote control may be incorrect.
The distance from the remote control to the device may be too far or the angle
may be too large.
Check the remote control batteries have not been drained.
Make sure that the remote control and the front panel of the DVR are not
damaged.
12. Why I can't log in to the WEB?
Check to make sure that the computer has been connected to the Internet properly.
Check if the "LINK" or "100M" LED is displayed normally on the panel; use
ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (DVR IP) to check if the Internet is linked properly.
It is recommended that you use either Windows XP or Vista as the operating
system, and Internet Explorer 6.0 or Internet Explorer7.0 as the Internet browser
with this DVR.
The ActiveX controls may have been blocked. Manually reinstall the ActiveX
controls.
The video card driver may be out of date; install DX8.1 and upgrade the video
card driver.

This section will explain the ways to connect your DVR to the internet using static and
dynamic IP addresses. To connect to the internet, you will need to use a modem and a router.
As a network device, your DVR should have its own address called an Internet Protocol (IP)
