4.3.18. mem
"Mem" shows the memory usage statistics. The "free" entry is the
most important - it shows how much free memory is left.
4.3.19. mii
Command may be used to configure the FastEthernet transceiver
through the MIII port. Following options are available:
status - displays port status:
PHY: Intel LXT972A Rev. 2
Autonegotiation enabled
100Base-TX, full-duplex, link up
reset - resets the transceiver
auto - enables autonegotiation (default)
speed { 10 | 100 } - forces 10 or 100 Mbps link speed
duplex { half | full } - forces half- or full-duplex mode
power { on | off } - enables and disables the Ethernet port
Choosing „speed" or „duplex" options disables autonegotiation
mode.
4.3.20. netstat
Shows a list of active TCP connections.
4.3.21. ping
Checks the availability of a device with selected IP address. For
example:
ping 10.0.0.2
gives the time necessary to send packet to the 10.0.0.2 station
and back or reports its unavailability.
4.3.22. ppp
The "ppp" command sets up the PPP parameters when the DSL
line works in the synchronous PPP mode. Following options are available
(the <port> should be set to "ppp0"):
