Owner´s Manual
1. To drain the oil, remove the oil drain plug (1).
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.

2. Remove the spring (2) and oil strainer screen (3).

3. Wash the oil strainer screen in clean solvent.
Make sure the sealing rubber and O-ring (4) are in
good condition. Install the oil strainer screen, spring
and cap.
Oil drain plug torque:
15 N·m (1.5 kgf·m, 11 lbf·ft)
4. Fill the crankcase with the recommended grade oil;
approximately:
0.9 (1.0 US qt, 0.8 Imp qt)
5. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick. Check for oil
leaks.
6. Start the engine and let it idle for 3 – 5 minutes.
7. 2 – 3 minutes after stopping the engine, check that
the oil level is at the upper level mark on the oil filler
cap/dipstick with the motorcycle upright on firm,
level ground. Make sure there are no oil leaks.
