INSTALLING THE BLADES The blades (No.8– Fig. 3) are already installed and balanced in the unit by the manufacturer and do not need to be tampered with. INSTALLING THE DOWN ROD Feed down rod through ceiling canopy (No.3– Fig. 3) and bolt and pin cover (No.15– Fig. - Page 5 AFTER INSTALLATION WOBBLE: Figure 4 The fan blades have been adjusted in the factory to minimize any wobble. NOTE: CEILING FANS TEND TO MOVE DURING OPERATION DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE MOUNTED ON A RUBBER GROMMET. IF THE FAN WAS MOUNTED RIGIDLY TO THE CEILING IT WOULD CAUSE EXCESSIVE VIBRATION.
