PANEL DESCRIPTION
TX CODE CHANNEL UP/DOWN KEYS
Push to select a TX code channel drectly.
SCRAMBLER/ENCRYPTION KEY
➥ Whle n analog mode operaton, push to toggle the voce
scrambler functon ON and OFF.
➥ Whle n dgtal mode operaton, push to toggle the
encrypton transmsson functon ON and OFF.
COMPANDER KEY
Push to toggle the compander functon ON and OFF.
The compander functon reduces nose components from
the transmtted audo to provde clear communcaton.
ID-MR SELECT KEY (PMR operaton only)
➥ Recalls detected ID codes.
• Push ths key, then select the ID code usng [CH Up]/
[CH Down].
• Up to 5 ID's are memorzed.
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. to erase the selected ID's.
HOOK SCAN KEY
When the on hook scan functon s actvated, push ths key
to dsables on hook scan functon (stop scannng) temporar-
ly. Push ths key agan to re-start scannng.

USER SET MODE KEY
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. to enter user set mode.
• Durng user set mode, push ths key to select an tem that s
enabled by your dealer, and change the value or condton usng
[CH Up]/[CH Down].
➥ Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. agan to ext user set mode.
User set mode s also avalable va the 'Power ON functon.'
Refer to p. 12 also.
10Key ENT KEY
Push to enable the connected mcrophone's 10-keypad oper-
aton.
• The desred memory channel, TX code channel (5-tone), ID lst
number (dgtal), TX status (MSK/Dgtal) or Short Data Message
(dgtal) can be selected. (Depends on the pre-programmng.)
OPT 1/2/3 KEYS
Push to control the output sgnal level from the optonal unt
connector.
POWER OFF EMERGENCY
Whle pushng and holdng ths key, turn the transcever's
power OFF to actvate the Power OFF Emergency functon.
After the specfied tme perod has passed, from the tme ths
functon s actvated, the emergency call s transmtted wth
no beep emsson and no dsplay ndcaton. (p. 14)
