Attach the VCR’s Controller to the top of the VCR with the Controller’s transmitter pointed towards the DBS receiver’s remote sensor. ATTENTION: The Controller can also control a cable box.

When using a monaural camcorder, connect its AUDIO OUT connector to the AUDIO L input connector on your VCR. When a Master Edit Control-equipped JVC camcorder is used, the camcorder is capable of controlling the VCR. Refer to the camcorder’s instruction manual for operating procedure.

When you are editing through the DV IN/OUT connector, the VCR will stop if the signal is interrupted. When connecting this VCR to a device equipped with a DV input connector, be sure to use the optional DV cable (VC-VDV204).

VIDEO CALIBRATION When this function is set to “ON”, this VCR checks the condition of the tape in use during playback and recording, and compensates to provide the highest-possible pictures. This takes place whenever you play back a tape or start recording after inserting a tape.
