Clearing Paper Jams
Paper Jams in the Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF)

Open the DADF Cover and remove the jammed document.
3-5:
If necessary, open Inner Cover
jammed document.

If the original could not be found, raise the
document. Gently close the cover.

Open Lower Left Door

the machine.

Remove any jammed paper
in this area. Close Lower Left
Door.
Note
If paper is torn, ensure to
remove any torn pieces of
paper inside the machine.

Gently remove any jammed
paper from Top Output Tray.
2:
Open and close the Right
Finisher Door. A message will
be displayed on the Screen
and will not operate if the door
is even slightly open.
