CAUSES

Unsuitable or worn abrasive
Insufficient drum pressure
Insufficient belt tension
Worn belt
Insufficient tension due to:
Excessive cable length or unsuitable
cross section
Unstable connections
Faulty capacitor
Faulty motor
Faulty abrasive
Drum surface dirty or faulty
Incorrect wheel adjustment
Dust bag more than 1/3 full
Dust bag dirty or with blocked pores
Vacuum ducts and/or obstructed
pipes
Faulty switch
Faulty capacitor
Insufficient voltage for unstable
connections
Faulty motor
No power supply voltage
Worn abrasive
Excessive pressure on drum
Abrasive too fine
Replace the abrasive
Increase drum pressure
Increase belt tension
Replace the belt
Use cables of suitable length and
cross section
Arrange suitable connections
Contact an authorised K&T dealer
Contact an authorised K&T dealer
Replace the abrasive
Clean/correct/replace the rubber-
coated drum.
Correct the wheel position
Empty the bag.
Shake out the dirt and wash the bag.
Clean air ducts
