Thank you for purchasing Acculab Pocket Scale. Please read all of the operating
instructions to ensure best performance. The unit is pre-calibrated at the factory and comes
ready to use with one AA alkaline battery (not engaged).

Operating Instructions:

Note: Before using, engage AA battery (supplied with scale/battery compartment located
on bottom of scale).
Slide pan (as marked on scale) completely open towards the rear of the unit (should "click"
in place). Turn scale on by pressing "ON/LIGHT" key. A segment display will appear ("----" /
then "0.0g" or " 0.00g") and scale is ready for operation. Turn scale "OFF" and slide pan
forward when not in use to close and lock during transportation.
Key Functions / Descriptions:
ON/LIGHT Key:
Press to turn balance "ON". Within the operation mode, press this key to "turn-on" backlight
.
CAL/UNIT Key:
Press and "release" key will enable toggling between grams (g) and ounces (oz). (Cycle g,
oz, gn and ct for PP-62)
Press and "hold" (for approximately 3 seconds) puts balance in calibration mode.
ZERO/OFF Key:
Press and "release" key will return display to zero.
Press and "hold" key (for approximately 3 seconds) turns balance off.
Features:
Power-Up Test:
When the unit is initially turned ON, "----" will appear in the display (for
approximately 2 seconds), then "0.0g" or "0.00g" depending upon model will be displayed.
This is a self diagnostic test.
Low Battery:
when battery is in low battery state, ie, 1.2 -0.9V, the display will show "LO" to
indicate low battery. It is recommended to change battery at this time.
Auto Off:
This unit comes with an auto-off feature to conserve battery power. The scale
will automatically turn off after approximately 4 minutes of inactivity (note: the backlight will
turn off automatically after 1 minute to conserve battery life, simply press the "ON/LIGHT"
key to turn backlight "ON".
Overload Indicator:
When a load that is applied to the weighing platform exceeds the
scale capacity, an "H" will appear in the display. Please remove load immediately (in order
to prevent damage) and the unit should return to normal operation.
Caution:
Overloading the capacity of the scale should be prevented as this may cause
damage to the weight cell and void warranty. Additionally please avoid vibrations, strong
electrical or magnetic fields, and rapid changes in humidity or temperature as they can
adversely affect accuracy.
