www.tapis.pl Bellfi res English 7.1. VENTILATION Air is a vital component of the combustion process. Ensure that there is a suffi cient supply of fresh air. For each kilo of wood that you put on the fi re (door closed), 10 - 15 m of extra air is needed.
www.tapis.pl Bellfi res English When the tinder material is burning well, place approximately 2 pieces of wood, each around 1 kilo, on the fi re and leave the sliding door ajar for the moment. After circa 3 minutes, you can close the door completely. If the fuel has caught fi...
Page 51
www.tapis.pl Bellfi res English We recommend that you maintain a substantial layer of ash (2 - 3 cm). This not only forms a protective layer for the base of the appliance but also signifi cantly reduces consumption of fuel and allows new wood to catch light easier. When loading the fi...

www.tapis.pl Bellfi res English • Using too much wood. This is a problem if your built-in fi re is too small. In that case, it becomes overloaded and burns more wood than heat emitted. In this case too the fuel cannot burn completely. More to the point, there is not enough air to mix with the fl...
www.tapis.pl Bellfi res English FUELS 9.1. WOOD Suitable fuels are: • All sorts of clean wood (forested). The wood must have been dried for at least two years. Well-dried wood has a humidity percentage between 10 and 20%. Recommended dimensions: • Slide-Bell 55-55: length: ca. 30 cm outline: ca.
