The Zero Configuration settings override all configuration profiles, even when you
select other options. However, the Vigor600 Super G Wireless Utility does still control
the following settings when Zero Configuration is set:
Power settings
Active/Passive scanning (where applicable)
Transmit power
Wireless band
Short/Long preamble (802.11b)

Take the following steps:

In Windows XP, open the Network Connection. Right click on the Wireless
Network of the Wireless Adapter and select Properties dialog box.
Select the check box Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings to

When this check box is cleared, all profile settings are controlled by the configuration
profile which is set up from the Profile Management tab of the Wireless Adapter.

Configuring the TCP/IP Address for the network device:
After configuring the wireless network adapter properties, open the Control Panel

and open Network and Dial-up Connections.

Find the Local Area Connection associated with the wireless network adapter.
Right-click that connection, and click Properties.

Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
