BATTERY AND CHARGER SAFETY WARNINGS • The longest life and best performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the air temperature is between 18 - 24ºC. Do not charge the battery pack in an air temperature below 10ºC or above 40ºC. This is important and will prevent damage to the battery pack. - Page 9 IMPACT DRIVER SAFETY WARNINGS! (cont.) • Secure the work piece. A work piece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice, is held more secure than by hand. • One-handed operation is extremely dangerous. Hold the unit firmly with both hands when operating the tool.

LITHIUM ION BATTERY AND CHARGER SAFETY Over Charging Protection This feature ensures that the battery (6) is never overcharged. When the battery (4) has reached its full charge capacity the charger will shut off protecting the internal components of the battery (6) from being damaged. Over Discharge Protection The battery (6) includes an over discharge protector. -

IMPACT DRIVER OPERATION WARNIING! Remove the battery (4) from the tool before inserting or removing a bit or when making any adjustments to your tool. Installing a driver bit Pull the driving bit retaining ring (1) forward and insert the hex shank of the appropriate driver bit into the driving bit retaining ring (1) (Fig. - Page 15 IMPACT DRIVER OPERATION (cont.) Installing a socket adaptor and socket (not included) Pull the driving bit retaining ring (1) forward and insert the hex shank of the socket adaptor into the retaining ring (1). (Fig. 8). Fig. Release the driving bit retaining ring (1) and slowly pull the socket adaptor forward until you feel the ring engage with the groove in the adaptor indicating that the adaptor is locked in position.
