Starting and Operating Instructions
Intrusion Sensor Override
Button
When you turn the engine off
INTRUSION SENSOR ON will
appear in the driver information
center.
To arm the theft deterrent system
without activating the intrusion
sensor, press the override button
in the glove box before turning the
engine off.
INTRUSION SENSOR OFF will
appear in the driver information
center.
The intrusion sensor will not be
activated.

Cleaning the System
To clean the sensor, spray the
cleaner on a soft, clean cloth and
wipe gently.
Make sure the cleaner does not
leave any residue.
NOTICE
Do not spray cleaner directly
onto the intrusion sensors.
Do not use brushes. The bristles
will damage the sensor.
Do not touch the sensor with
pins or other sharp objects.
Immobilizer
Note: Modifications made to this
system by anyone other than an
authorized service facility may void
authorization to use the system.
Your vehicle is equipped with a
passive theft deterrent system.
When the ignition is turned off,
the system will automatically arm
itself.
The system will automatically
disarm when the ignition mode
changes to Accessory or Start and
a valid transmitter is detected in
the vehicle.
Only a transmitter that has been
successfully matched to the vehi-
cle will disarm the system.
