Instrumentation and Controls
Air Delivery Mode
Press repeatedly to manually
select one of four modes and
control the direction of airflow.
The display shows the selected
mode.
If this control is pressed while the
system is in automatic mode,
AUTO will disappear from the
display.
A delivery mode symbol will
appear on the display if the air
delivery mode is selected
manually.

You may choose one of the follow-
ing four modes:
The ventilation mode di-
rects airflow through the
instrument panel outlets. It
also sends a small amount
through the floor outlets.
The blending mode directs
airflow through both the
instrument panel outlets
and the floor outlets.
The heater mode directs
most of the airflow through
the floor outlets, with some
air going to the windshield
and side window defroster
vents.
The heating/defogging
mode divides airflow equal-
ly between the windshield
defroster vents and the
floor outlets. It also sends a
small amount of air
through the side window
defroster vents.
Use this mode to remove
fog from the windshield or
side windows while also
heating the vehicle.
The air intake setting will
be in Outside Air.
The A/C compressor will
operate in this mode if the
outside temperature is
above freezing.
Press AUTO to return to automatic
operation.
