Check if the CPT-720 Portable Terminal is
properly positioned within the reading range: (5
to 100cm, 30 degree solid angle) of the IrDA
transceiver.

Keypad does not work properly,

Turn off the power then press the 7, 9 and
keys simultaneously to enter the kernel

From the system menu, select the Test and then
its sub-item KBD.

Perform the key-in test.
