Contributing to the impressively longer look of the 1967 Cadillac is the
gracefully sweeping side contour extending from the front fender top to
just above midpoint of the taillight housing and the forward extension
of the rear quarter panel profile. Calais and De Ville series and the
Fleetwood Seventy-Five have a single fine chrome molding extending
the length of the body, starting at the front wheel opening. Just above
the rear of the molding the Calais and De Ville have their series designa-
tions in chrome seript, the Fleetwood Seventy-Five has the wreath and
crest. Fleetwood Sixty Special and Brougham have a bright and brushed-
chrome rocker sill molding, wreath and crest on the lower and upper
rear quarter panel, respectively, and "Fleetwood" on front fenders.
The Coupe de Ville, shown here,
and Calais Coupe are further dis-
tinguished for 1967 with an exclu-
sive new roof and u p p e r rear
quarter or sail panel. It provides
an appearance of custom coach-
work, affords greater privacy and,
especially with the Padded Roof
option on the De Ville, offers a rare
distinction, even for the world's
most popular luxury coupes. Hard-
top sedans in these series also have
the exclusive roofline without as
wide a sail panel.
Wheel discs retain the elegant
b e a u t y of bright and brushed-
chrome concentric rings. Raised
hub bearing the Cadillac crest has
a ribbed perimeter which provides
reflective highlights when the car
is in motion. New dual-ringed
whitewalls provide a perfect com-
plement to wheel disc design.
