are left unlocked or key is not removed from ignition \
switch. Always remove ignition key and lock doors when

Ignition Switch
The ignition switch is located below the instrument cluster
to the right of the steering column. The key slot is illuminated
when instrument panel lights are on. The key can be turned
to any one of three positions, but can be inserted or witb-

"right" completes the ignition circuit and activates all in-
struments and accessories. Full "right" position cranks the
engine. All accessories are disconnected while the ignition
switch is in the cranking position.
The "left" position is for operation of accessories with
ignition off. The key must be pushed in before it can be turned
to the "left" position. This feature prevents accidental engage-

charge if the accessories are operating at the time.
