Compass Card - Responding to the
input from the slaved directional
gyro, this card rotates within the dis-
play so that the aircraft heading is
always at the top, under the lubber
line.

cates aircraft magnetic heading on
the compass card.
Symbolic Aircraft - A fixed repre-
sentation of the actual aircraft. This
miniature aircraft always points
toward the top of the display and the
