3.11.1 System Settings – Configure
Select "Configure" in the secondary menu.
1. Standard: It means the present display standard of the system. System Default is NTSC.
Do not change this option.
2. Video Loss: When there is video loss on any channel the system will trigger the audio
buzzer to alarm. "X" means on and "Blank" denotes off.
3. AutoSwitch: The interval time settings for channel preview mode. Options range from 01 -
99 seconds.
4. PIPConfig:The picture in picture channel settings. The first channel is the above picture
and the second channel is the back picture.
5. VGA Type: The VGA resolution setting there are three options: 1024 * 768/75HZ, 1280 *
1024/60HZ, 800 * 600/75HZ.
6. Password: This gives the user the option to enable or disable password login. If you select
"Disable", you do not need a password to log into the system; if you select "Enable", you
need to verify the correct password when you login into the system.
a. NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WRITE YOUR PASSWORD DOWN AND DO NOT
LOOSE IT.
7. LockTime: When Password is Enabled, LockTime will determine the amount of time
during no activity to lock the system. Options are 1minutes, 2minutes, 4minutes,
10minutes, 15minutes, 30minutes and 1hour. This function based on the Password
settings is "Enable", if the Password settings is "Disable", it will not be active.
7. OK: Setup completed, Click the "OK" button, to save the changes to the system.
CANCEL: Click the "CANCEL" button to cancel all changes, nothing will be saved.
