1. Channel: Select the channel that you would like to setup for motion detection, 1 thru 4
2. SET: Click the "SET" button to access the selected channels motion detection area. To
select a particular area on the image, hold down the left mouse button while dragging to

changes, either right click on the mouse or press the "ESC" button on the remote or DVR
panel. Then select "SAVE" to save the changes or press the EXIT, or you may select
multiple areas for motion detection.
Example: You can set the motion area = RED on a cash register only. So whenever the cash
register is open, it will record. You can also select a doorway on the same camera, so the
DVR will record if someone walks through the doorway, or if someone opens the register.
You can monitor multiple points on one channel.
3. Record: You can record 1 or all 4 channels when motion is detected by a particular
camera. To select a channel for recording select "X" for record. "Blank" denotes do not

Example: If you select all channels to record when motion is detected by channel 1. Then all
cameras will begin recording whenever motion is detected by that channel.
4. Duration: After motion is detected and stopped, this option sets how long to record after
the motion has stopped. Options range from 05 - 99 seconds.
5. Level: Denotes the sensitivity to start the motion detection recording. Options range from
Lowest/Low/Middle/High/Highest
Example: select a lower sensitivity level when detection motion in a high traffic area. Select
the highest sensitivity when monitoring a location that should not have any motion during
that time.
6. Buzzer: Your DVR is equipped with an audio alarm buzzer. To hear the alarm when motion
is detected set "Buzzer" to "X" means open this function; "Blank" denotes no sound.
7. Timer: The timer denotes the time the audio buzzer will sound. Options range from 00 to
99 seconds.
