3.5.1 Record Parameters –
This will allow the user to change settings to individual cameras and recording quality. Use
this section to apply a name to a channel or change the brightness, contrast or saturation
of the cameras, as well as the recoding quality and frame rate.
Enter "Record Parameters", as shown below:
1. Channel: Select which channel (1-4) for setup.
2. Name: user-defined Channel name, use the left / right mouse buttons to scroll through the
alphabet to apply a 3 letter name for each channel.
3. Quality: choose the appropriate recording quality. Choices are: lowest / low / middle/ high /
highest. Choosing a lower recording quality will allow the hard drive to record a longer
period of time.
4. FrameNum: Choose between 6 types of frame rates (Number of Frame per second) 1, 03,
05, 08, 13 and 25 respectively. This is the number of images the DVR will record in a 1
second. For example; choosing 1 means the DVR will record 1 frame every second.
Choosing 25 = the DVR will record 25 frames per second (real-time). Choosing a lower
frame rate will allow the hard drive to recorder a longer period of time.
5. Brightness: range from 00-99 set, the default setting is 50.
6. Contrast: set up ranging from 00-99, the default setting is 50.
7. Saturation: Setting range from 00-99, the default setting is 50.
8. APPLY TO: This feature is to set the current channel parameters and then applied to the
other channel. Select either CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4 or ALL to apply these settings.
Selecting ALL will apply the settings to all the channels / cameras connected to the DVR
Setup completed: Click "OK" button, to save changes or click "CANCEL", no information will
be changed or saved.
