6. Menu functions

Messages

You can receive and read short text
messages on your car phone and either
call the sender back or send an
answering SMS using a message
template (network service). However, before you can send your
own short messages, you will have to make some necessary

settings.

Remember that traffic safety comes first. Don't use a hand-
held phone while driving and only use the features offered
by your car phone when traffic conditions permit this.

When sending messages via the SMS network service, your
phone may display the words
indication that the message has been sent by your car
phone to the message centre number programmed into your
phone. This does not mean that the message has been
received at the intended destination.

Any short messages sent to your car phone are shown in the
order in which they are received. Unread text messages are

have to delete some of the old ones.
If you have received more than one text message:
