Before putting your phone into operation

Please read the information set out below before putting your
car phone into operation:

The phone is automatically switched on with the car's
ignition.
When you switch off your car's ignition, the car phone will
not be switched off automatically: it remains in service for
the period of time that has been set using the
timer
function. For further information, see Power down
timer on page 33.

Check your car phone equipment regularly to ensure that it
is correctly mounted and is working properly.
A valid SIM card is required for operation of your car phone. For
further information, see Installing the SIM card on page 16.

Attach sticker
to your warranty card.
PIN code (4-8 digits):
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) protects your SIM
card against unauthorised use. The PIN code is usually
supplied with the SIM card.
Some service providers may allow you to switch off the
prompt, requesting you to enter the PIN at power on.
PIN2 code (4-8 digits):
The PIN2 code may be supplied with the SIM card and is
required to access some functions.
PUK and PUK2 codes (8 digits):
The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is required to
change a blocked PIN code. The PUK2 code is required to
change a blocked PIN2 code.
If these codes have not been supplied with your SIM card,
please contact your service provider.
