ADDENDUM #2 Masonry Chimney or Fireplace Conversions
Follow the requirements and use the equipment listed in the illustration to the right to install this
appliance into an interior masonry chimney.
Maximum vertical rise is 38'
Minimum vertical rise is 10'
Use the following restrictor positions:
Position 1 for heights between 10' and 16'
Position 7 for heights between 16' and 38'
NOTE: these restrictor positions are based upon lab tests. The ideal restrictor position may vary.

The entire chimney system
must be air-tight. Seal the
connector cover and inspect
the chimney.
Make sure the coaxial pipe
maintains a 1" clearance to any
combustible. The vent must be
sealed air-tight.
