Keypad lock

When the keypad is locked, nothing happens if you inadvert-
ently press a key. You can continue to accept calls in the
usual manner.

Operating behind a PABX

If you operate your Gigaset behind a PABX, it may be neces-
sary to change the preset Dual Tone Multifrequency Dialling
(DTMF) procedure and flash times (please refer to the oper-
ating instructions of your PABX).
Use digits 1 to 4 to set the following:

DTMF , long flash 250 ms
2
DTMF , short flash 100 ms
3
DP (Dial Pulsing) 1.5/1
4
DP 2/1

Did you enter the wrong number by mistake? Then press
the handset key
to standby.
Activate the function – the ringer sounds.
Select the ringtone (version 1 or 2) and save.
Hold down for more than
1 second to activate/deactivate.
The display icon appears if active.
Press the handset key.
Activate the function.
Enter the desired setting (1 to 4).
Save the setting.
Press the handset key.
