Connections
Connecting to a TV
Connect the unit to a TV after considering the
capabilities of your existing equipment.
Before installation, plug off your TV and this
unit.
Using the Scart jack

Connect the antenna or cable to the
ANTENNA IN jack of this unit.

Connect the ANTENNA OUT jack of
this unit to the Aerial jack of your TV.
Use the supplied RF cable.

Connect AV1 (TV) Scart jack of this
unit to the Scart jack of your TV. Use
a commercially available Scart cable
or Scart / RCA cable.
Note
• If your TV does not have a Scart jack, use
commercially available Scart adaptor or Scart / RCA
cable to connect.
Using the S-VIDEO OUT jack and the
ANALOG AUDIO OUT jack
If your TV has an S-Video input jack, use S-Video and
Audio cables to connect.

Follow steps 1 and 2 above.

Connect S-VIDEO OUT jack of this
unit to the S-Video input jack of your
TV. Use a commercially available
S-Video cable.

Audio input jacks of your TV. Use a
commercially available Audio cable.

Note for a TV with no S-Video input jacks or
Scart jack:
• This unit has no RF modulator, so this type of TV
cannot be used.
Connecting to external equipment
This unit has four input terminals, AV1, AV2 or AV3 on
the rear panel and AV4 on the front panel. Be sure
that all the units are off before making connections.
