Programming
You can programme this recorder to timer-record as many as 16
programmes.
With the VIDEO P + system, timer programming is greatly

simplified because each TV programme has a corresponding
code number which your recorder is able to recognize.
Before performing the VIDEO P
Programming:
Make sure that the recorder's built-in clock is set properly.
Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
Slide TV/CABLE/SAT switch to the right.

Turn on the recorder.

Load a cassette.
Insert a VHS (or S-VHS) cassette with the record safety
tab intact.

A Press PROG.

to move the arrow to "VIDEO PLUS+", then

When "PROGRAMME FULL DELETE UNWANTED TIMER
PROGRAMME" appears on the TV screen, you need to cancel
some of the currently set programmes. (

Press the number keys to enter the P
programme you wish to record.

to move the arrow to the desired

B Repeat step A to enter all needed numbers.
If you make a mistake and needed to delete the last entered
number, press

To delete all entered numbers at the same time, press
to move the arrow to "DELETE ALL", then press OK.

Check the programme data.
The P C number you

Make sure the channel position number you wish to record is
displayed; if not, see "VIDEO P
page 83 and set the Guide Program number correctly.
