Magnetic Valve (Stop Solenoid)

The magnetic valve (stop solenoid) turns on or off
as the ignition switch of the vehicle is operated to
open or close the fuel path connected to the inlet
port of the plunger barrel.
When the ignition switch is turned on, power is
supplied to the magnetic valve to lift the armature,
thus opening the fuel path.
On the contrary, when the ignition switch is turned
off, the armature is powered by the force of the
spring installed in the armature to close the fuel
path. As a result, no fuel is fed to the plunger,
stopping the engine immediately.
