4.2.2. Error Code and Troubleshooting

NOTE
Some messages may not appear on the display depending on the options or models.
•
SCX-340xF/ 340xFW/ 340xFH (4 in 1)
Messages appear on the control panel display to indicate the machine's status or errors.
•
SCX-340x/ 340xW (3 in 1)
These models have not the LCD. If machine has error, it is hard to know which kinds of error is happened.
In case of this, machine supports error code display mode.

[Enter Error Code Display Mode]
Press button continuously as following key sequence : Power > Up > Down > Power > Power
NOTE
▪
Machine only display error code in idle mode. In other word, machine can't print when it is working.
▪
Button interval time between each key sequence is 2 seconds below.
▪ Machine automatically returns to idle mode after power off/on.

[Exit Error Code Display Mode]
In order to exit error code mode, there are two kinds of method.
▪
By pressing cancel key : Whenever you press cancel key during error codes are displayed, then return to
idle mode.
▪
Automatically return : Machine will return idle mode after all error codes are displayed.

C2-1120 Replace new cartridge
C2-1140 Replace new cartridge
C2-1410 Install toner cartridge
C2-1510 Not Compatible Toner cartridge
C2–1710 Error: #C2-1710 Call for Service
C2–1711 Error: #C2-1711 Call for Service
C2–1712 Error: #C2-1712 Call for Service
M2-1110 Paper Jam inside machine
M2–1116 Paper jam or empty
M2–1317 Paper Jam inside machine
S1-5221 Install wireless NIC
S2-4110 Door open Close it
S3–3121 Scanner Locked.
S6-3123 Network Problem: IP Conflict
U1-2320 Error #U1-2320 Turn off then on
U1-2330 Error #U1-2330 Turn off then on
U1-2340 Error #U1-2340 Turn off then on
U2-1112 Error #U2-1112 Turn off then on
